For deep pore cleansing and gentle, daily exfoliation, the Volcanic Mud Cleanser contains fuller’s earth, glycolic acid, aloe vera and a blend of natural oils which lift away impurities, dead skin cells and excess oil gently but effectively. It is ideal for people who like a rinse off cleanser. Volcanic Mud Cleanser has a velvety texture that leaves skin feeling ultra clean but never dry or tight.

How does it work?
The avocado oil in this product makes it an excellent treatment for dry, dull, dehydrated and ageing skin. Avocado oil is highly penetrating and contains essential fatty acids, proteins, minerals and vitamin E and is known to be a great skin healer. The oil also aids skin regeneration and is highly nutritious. The fuller’s earth helps to draw out impurities leaving the skin clean and refreshed, whilst extracts of chamomile help soothe inflammation and redness.

Skincare tips
Pour a small amount of cleanser into the palm of your hand and use your finger tips to massage over the face in an upwards circular motion. Rinse with tepid water. If you wear make-up or work in an environment where your skin gets dirty or very oily then, as beauty therapists recommend, do a ‘double cleanse’ and repeat the cleansing process. We always recommend cleansing twice in the evening; no matter what product you use, one cleanse will not be enough.

When using any cleanser a toner is always advised. The toner helps refresh the skin in preparation for your moisturiser. For dry, sensitive or mature skin we recommend the Revitalising Ginseng Toner to purify the skin after cleansing, for normal to combination the Purifying Calendula Toner and for oily/problem skin the Detoxifying Eucalyptus Toner.

When using any product containing glycolic acid you must use a moisturiser with a SPF of at least 15 during the day, if you plan on sunbathing or visiting a hot climate use a minimum factor 25.

If your skin is hyper sensitive then this product is not recommended, particularly without a patch test.
