This Glycolic moisturising cream is a mild treatment for dry and mature or spotty and problem skin types. It is ideal for dryer skin types that can also experience outbreaks. This multipurpose cream exfoliates and removes dead skin cells, rejuvenates, revives and moisturises deep into the skin cells leaving skin clear, smooth, hydrated and luminous, glowing with health. Use once or twice a day.

Glycolic Acid 10% Moisturiser is an effective treatment for dry, mature and problem skin. It has a content of 10% Glycolic Acid which has been partially neutralised and has a PH of 4.5. Exfoliating yet nourishing, it is recommended for these skin types for day and evening use and is ideal for spotty skins that can become a little dry when using gels or oil free based lotions.

This is an excellent product to help with ageing skin, not only will the skin be nourished by the high content of Aloe Vera and Safflower oil, the glycolic acid helps to exfoliate leaving your skin looking fresher and younger, refining the skin to reduce fine lines, enlarged pores, wrinkles and age spots. This luxurious formula will give you a radiant and youthful flow.

Suitable for dry skin types, if you have sensitive skin we recommend you do a patch test.

How does it work?

Alpha-hydroxy acids perform at the base of the stratum corneum, dissolving the ‘glue’ that holds dead skin cells together. Because this increases cell turnover, skin becomes smoother, more elastic and more even in tone and texture.

At the same time Glycolic Acid also stimulates your skin to produce more collagen. Collagen is the main structural protein of the skin and keeps it elastic and line free; when this starts to disintegrate, skin begins to sag and wrinkle. Replacing the collagen your skin has lost with age can help diminish crow’s feet around the eyes, frown lines, and vertical lines around the lips.

The Glycolic Acid in this product has been partially neutralised, this means that the glycolic acid is released over a period of time and is less irritating than glycolic acid that hasn't been partially neutralised, giving you the same results without the side effects.

This is a new formula introduced on 23rd October 2013, any purchases before then would be our old formulation.

Skincare tips
When using any product containing glycolic acid you must use a moisturiser with a SPF of at least 15 during the day, if you plan on sunbathing or visiting a hot climate use a minimum factor 25.

Apply a small amount of moisturiser using gentle, upwards strokes over the face and neck twice a day after cleansing and toning.

DO NOT USE If you're pregnant/breastfeeding, under the age of 17, if you are undergoing any kind of intense beauty treatment (microdermabrasion, glycolic acid (at a salon) treatment, Retin-a, laser therapy etc) or if you're on medication which increases the skins sensitivity such as roaccutane and BP

  1. Too thick! Review by Vanessa

This new formula is just too thick and I find it really heavy on my face. The old one went on like a dream. The product still works, but I'm not sure I'll repurchase. (Posted on 26/01/2014)

  2. Nothing to wrote home about... Review by Davinia

This moisturiser is OK. It tended to sit on my skin so I was unable to apply make up on top. It didn't even leave my skin hydrated. As the summary says... Nothing to write home about... (Posted on 14/01/2014)
