This gel is an optimal treatment for oily skin which is prone to blackheads, breakouts, and large pores, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin areas). When too much sebum (the skin's natural oil) is produced, pores become clogged with a mixture of sebum and dead skin cells. Accumulated sebum contains propionic acid bacteria, which is released into the tissue causing an inflammatory reaction. Pore Perfection Control Gel contains a special blend of alpha hydroxy acids to exfoliate skin and keep pores clear whist the antibacterial properties of Tea Tree Oil help keep spots at bay.

How does it work?
Encapsulated Tea Tree oil combines anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory activities, while micro-sponge technology helps to absorb excess oil and assists with time released delivery of multi-hydroxy acids for gentle exfoliation. These processes help to prevent cell build up and clogged pores, while Vitamin B Complex (Yeast Extract) helps to regulate oil gland secretion. Aloe Vera is one of the oldest medicinal plants known to mankind. The ancient Egyptians used it in their beauty regimes whilst the ancient Greeks used it to heal numerous ailments; it has also been valued in Chinese medicine and used by the Native American Indians. It contains six antiseptic agents, moisturises skin, increases blood flow, naturally cleanses and penetrates deep into the skin tissue. Aloe Vera is a natural anti-inflammatory (contains plant steroids) and contains vitamins, enzymes, minerals and amino acids which encourage cell regeneration and help heal the skin. Lavender essential oil is naturally antibacterial, soothing and healing for the skin.

Alpha-Hydroxy Acids are naturally occurring acids, derived from the sugars of selected plants and fruits such as Sugar Cane, Grapes, Citrus Fruits, Apples and Bitter Almonds. These acids perform at the base of the stratum corneum, dissolving the ‘glue’ that holds dead skin cells together. Because this increases cell turnover, skin becomes smoother, more elastic and more even in tone and texture. Salicylic acid is a Beta Hydroxy Acid and is unique amongst the Hydroxy Acids in that it can penetrate deeper into the oil glands helping exfoliation even in the oily areas of the face. For this reason it has been used for years by dermatologists (skin specialists) to help treat comedonal acne in people who have very oily skins.

Skincare Tips
Use twice daily after cleansing. Apply a small amount of the serum over the face, concentrating on the T-Zone, avoiding the eye area. Follow with your favourite Bravura moisturiser. Repeated use will help to reduce oiliness, skin problems, and fine lines.

Caution: Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Use of sun protection is required when using this product. Some users of this product may experience a mild transient stinging or may incur a mild skin irritation. If irritation becomes severe, discontinue use and consult your skin care professional. Do not use on skin that is irritated from the sun, extreme cold, peeling, waxing, or electrolysis. Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed.

If this is your first purchase of this item you may wish to purchase a serum pump top as it makes dispensing of the product much easier, this product can be dispensed without a pump though so this is not an essential item that needs to be purchased. We no longer supply pump tops as standard as the pumps are reusable which is better for the environment.
